Articles published by Ingeniería: ciencia, tecnología e innovación are protected by copyright laws. The authors of articles submitted to the journal authorise the Universidad Señor de Sipán to publish, reproduce, communicate, distribute and transform the work once the final changes and corrections have been accepted. In the final stage, the Originality Statement must be signed, stating under oath that the work is original and unpublished.
As of 2025, all texts in the journal are published under the Creative Commons CC BY licence.
