Erratas y Retractaciones

Corrections to the content of articles published in the journal are permitted if errors are found during the evaluation or editing process or after publication. Depending on the nature, degree and consequences of the error, changes and additions may be made to the article.

Errata refers to the correction of one or more errors that do not prevent the article from remaining active.

Withdrawal refers to the acceptance of significantly serious errors in the results and conclusions of an article, which invalidates its content and justifies its total removal. In addition, articles that do not comply with the journal's ethical standards may also be subject to withdrawal.

Withdrawal with republication will be considered in situations where the journal's Editorial Committee determines that there was a genuine and unintentional error (such as an incorrect classification or calculation) that resulted in a significant change in the direction or meaning of the article's results, interpretations, or conclusions. In such cases, a new evaluation will be carried out and readers will be informed of the nature and scope of the corrections made.

Authors, reviewers, editorial team members, readers, and the general public may communicate their concerns, questions, or requests for clarification to revingcti@uss.edu.pe.

Withdrawal procedure

  • Identification and evaluation: once the notification has been received, the Editorial Committee will evaluate the validity of the concern, consulting the authors and, if necessary, independent experts in the field.
  • Decision: if it is determined that a withdrawal is necessary, the Editorial Committee will notify the authors and proceed with the withdrawal process.
  • Publication of the withdrawal: the withdrawal will be published in a new issue of the journal, detailing the specific reasons and maintaining a visible link in the online version of the original article. The original article will remain in the archives with a “Retracted” label and a note of the withdrawal.
