About the Journal
Engineering:Science, Technology and Innovation is an open-access, continuous publication, and free of charges, scientific journal specialising in industrial engineering and computer science. It is aimed at researchers in Latin America and has an international editorial team which, through a double-blind peer review process, establishes a reliable, high-quality channel of communication within an ethical framework that encompasses both the research and publication processes.
The journal publishes original research articles, reviews, methodologies, and protocols. To ensure high levels of replicability and reproducibility, all articles must include at least the dataset used and may be supplemented with research projects, data management plans (DMPs), or software. Papers may be submitted in Spanish or English.
Engineering: Science, Technology and Innovation is published exclusively in digital format, is under the auspices of the Señor de Sipán University and adheres to the ethical codes of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), in accordance with the publication regulations of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution Licence (CC BY).
Since 2025, the journal has adopted a continuous publication system, with individual articles being uploaded as soon as the editorial process is complete, in electronic format and freely accessible.
