Revisión por Pares
Submitted articles that pass the editorial review stage will be evaluated by external reviewers using the double-blind peer review method. This means that neither party (authors and reviewers) knows the identity of the other, to ensure a review without conflicts of interest.
The manuscript will be evaluated by at least two reviewers who are experts in the subject area and must meet the following criteria:
- Master's or doctoral degree in the subject area.
- Scientific publications in the area of interest in the last five years.
- H-index of 5 or higher.
- Institutional affiliation different from that of the publishing institution and the authors of the manuscript.
- Preferably international institutional affiliation.
- Declaration of no conflicts of interest with the publishing institution, the journal or its members.
The results of the evaluation may be:
- Approved without comments.
- Approved with comments.
- Rejected
The selection of reviewers and communication with them will be carried out through the OJS platform, where they will issue their judgement on the academic quality of the manuscript's content, the accuracy of its theoretical and methodological treatment, and the author's originality or contribution to the field of knowledge. Reviewers have a maximum of 30 working days to submit their opinion using the review form provided by the journal and must declare that they have no conflicts of interest and that they are aware of the specific rules on research ethics, confidentiality and plagiarism.
In the event of a dispute between reviewers, an additional reviewer will be assigned to hear their opinion, and the opinion of the editor-in-chief or members of the scientific committee may also be taken into account.
Although the opinions of external reviewers will be taken into account, if the manuscript is accepted, either with minor or major modifications, the Scientific Editorial Committee reserves the right to add other suggestions it deems appropriate to significantly improve the quality of the work.
It is important to remember that the final decision to accept or reject a manuscript will always be made by the journal's Scientific Editorial Committee and will be final. In any case, if authors have doubts about the quality of the evaluations or the rigour of the reviewers, they have the option of requesting a new evaluation.
