Conflict of interest statement

The journal is firmly committed to transparency, ethics, and scientific integrity. Therefore, all authors and members of the editorial committee must clearly and fully disclose any interest that may influence, or be perceived as influencing, the development, analysis or publication of a manuscript.

Financial conflicts of interest are understood to be those related to the receipt of funding, reimbursements, fees or salaries from institutions that may benefit from or be affected by the publication; the holding of shares or interests in such entities, or the ownership or application for patents related to the content of the article.

Non-financial conflicts of interest include, but are not limited to, political, personal, religious, ideological, academic or intellectual factors that may condition the objectivity or impartiality of the manuscript.

Each manuscript must contain, at the end of the text, a section entitled “Conflicts of interest”, in which the existence or absence of such interests is explicitly stated. In addition, each author must submit an individual sworn statement specifying all financial or non-financial relationships, activities, circumstances or other elements that could be interpreted as a secondary interest or that could influence their professional judgement. If there is any doubt as to whether a situation constitutes a conflict, it must be stated.

The Editorial Committee will independently evaluate the declared conflicts of interest and decide on their relevance. Editors, reviewers, and members of the editorial board who identify a conflict of interest are required to abstain from participating in the editorial process for that manuscript.

In this way, the journal ensures an honest, transparent, and reliable editorial process that protects the credibility of the research and the trust of the scientific community.
